Oh and like one of those gnarley earmarks Dear Senator and Representative,I’m sorry that you find folks saying “NO” to this bail out such a problem.Yes, we really can sympathize about things being tough.Especially when we fill up our gas tanks.Or pay our power bills.Or when we wait with knots in our stomach for our loved ones to come home. It’s now less than 30 days until you are up for re election. You guys have been pretty busy bailing out the rest of the world, (while they called us every name in the book). You’ve been pretty busy building the economy of China, (while we lost jobs and our economy was in trouble.)Guess you must have forgotten that you didn’t work for those folks. You work for us.And guess what.In less than 30 days? We’re gonna vote. Welcome to Earth, third rock from the Sun. You know I bet we could work this all out for a whole lot less than 700 billion. What do you think? 12 dogs and dog. Dancin through the reality of life. Reality like this. The US Representative from Ohio Are we having fun yet? Disgruntled Bluebirds of happiness say? “Hell no.” Don’t know about ya’ll.But the Bluebird of happiness? She looks pizzed. LOL. Well there was a vote and guess what? It didn’t pass. And there were alot folks who felt like this: They are not happy. Everyone seems to want to talk about bailouts. What I don’t understand is why we are letting people suffer when there are things that the president can do with the “stroke of a pen” not the vote of the US Legislature. So how did this cycle start?Oh yeah. For some reason, this whole experience reminds of Marbury v. Madison’s trying to redefine the US Supreme court. When I hear what is going on in Washington DC? My opinion. Uhm. MadCat? Well we could let the markets do it.We can also bring the troops back home.Let the rest of the world–fight their own battles. We’d be a trillion dollars richer. And guess what.4000 soldiers would be alive. To see their families. And gas wouldn’t cost so much. We could let the rest of the worldfight their own battles. While the markets? Were working it out. There are other measures besides the bailout to fix this mess.Something Sen. McCain talked about. If you are struggling? From the economy?Ask yourself why we aren’t usingthose means to fix this mess.If your stomach is hungry. What do you think MadCat? ..we will tackle the new day together…LOL Well, I’m all for working togetherYa’ll You’re going to want to click this next link.Welcome to 12 dogs and a blog <click here Comment|Report this post

Posted Oct-01-08 10:24:47 PDT Updated Oct-01-08 12:44:58 PDTWelcome to 12 dogs and a blog. 12 dogs and a blog is a writer' journal. Fact and fiction reside here. If you aren't sure which is which? Hmmm. It would be a really good idea to ask.

Before you assume.

12 dogs and a blog is always subject to rewrite and edit. Just like life. Heck we've been known to throw out a story and start completely over. Just for the heck of it. Like life it's always being written and re written up until that final draft. And since we are far from being dead yet.

Just sayin'

So. About that traveling companion.

Today of all days would be a really good day to ask.

Trust me.

Oh and remember.

Here at 12 dogs.

A friend is someone who likes you and you like them back.

And a good traveling companion makes you laugh.

I have in mind a good traveling companion.

"

I dare you to find real solutions to the problems of life and this economy.

"The words "I love you" were right there on her lips. The first time she'd ever really wanted to say them. To a complicated man. Someone who'd made her laugh. Even when she didn't want to.

No more trials.

No more quests.

Life was to much fun to spend it making someone prove something. He didn't have to prove any more.

For the rest of her life and his they just had to trust and to love.

The "happily ever after part of life".

She was ready to get on with it.

She was shivering all over. Scared to death that she was wrong.

Separately they existed but together they were a force of nature.

She could hear his voice…

Home. Where she kept her heart and soul.

Home. Where he loved her so.

Home. Where she laid her head.

Home. Where they made their bed.

Home. Where he brought his heart.

Home. Where they made their start.

She closed here eyes and prayed that God in heaven would help them sort this out without hurt.

He would understand that what the heart wants can't be helped.

The words "I love you" .

Complicated words.

She'd looked for home for so long.

But first there had to be friend.

And well. After all.

A friend is someone who likes you.

And you?

You like them back.

This is the story wave.

Happily ever after.

A story of love and happy endings.

No matter the storm

Inside my boat is safe and warm

No matter the tides and seas

Inside my heart my love you see

Tested with trials at sea

My love he did come back to me

Tested with the fires of hell

My love he bested those as well

No matter how the dark dispair

My love is safe within him there

Inside my heart and his we'll be

Safe for all eternity.

We heard the heaven's pealing bells

Shook the dirt from our shoes as well.

Rejoice, rejoice. All is well

Left behind that deep dark hell.

Here's a little ditty about Jack and Diane

two American kids living in the heartland.

But the thrill of living's not gone

Together they saved the family farm.

Welcome to existence

Everyone's here
Everybody's watching you now
Everybody waits for you now

Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here…" I dare you to find real solutions to the problems of life and this economy. America isn't easy to understand for the rest of the world.

They're so used to being ruled by a small group of people. Kings. Dictators. Despots.

America?

It's not ruled by Kings or Dictators.

It's us.

We the People.

Of course the rest of the world would rather see us in the mud.

Of course the rest of the world would rather see us fail.

When even the least of us is equal to the greatest.

That's just not real good news for the Kings and Dictators of the world.

The same folks who have no problem putting our country in debt for fighting their wars.

The same folks who have no problem putting our soldiers in harms way.

Now the people that America have defended want to tell us that our economic problems are because of the frivolous spending and cowboy economics coming home to roost?

What part of the trillion dollar war in the Middle East is frivolous.

4000 soldiers have died in the Middle East.

We could help our economy and our people by frankly bringing them home now and the rest of the world can fight their own battles.

Or you could pay us for our services.

That would be a great start.

Because for the last 50 years we've been fighting other folks fights and watching our tax dollars pay for it.

I'm reading about how America is past her prime.

That other countries could do better.

Be better at watching the worlds affairs. Really?

You haven't been able to fight your wars.

You haven't been able to do with our Americas foreign aid.

You bought those risky bonds.

I'm not arrogant here.

It's as if you were just America's fair weather friend.

Now you've taken the good hearts and money from Americans and leave us in the dust?

You know these folks are right.

It's time for a little evaluation of the situation.

Like I said.

If you want to fight and PAY for your own dang wars.

Please feel free.

We'd love to keep our loved ones and our money here at home.

Oh and please feel free to buy our tanks and guns and pay through the nose for the use of our troops.

It will cost you too.

Dear US Senator and US Representative,

I'm sorry that you find our saying "NO" to this bail out such a problem.

We really can sympathize about things being tough.

Especially when we fill up our gas tanks.

Or pay our power bills

Or when we wait with knots in our stomach for our loved ones to come home from Iraq.

It's now less than 30 days until you are up for re election.

You guys have been pretty busy bailing out the rest of the world while they called us every name in the book.

You've been pretty busy building the economy of China while our economy was in trouble.

Guess you might have forgottten that you didn't work for those folks.

You work for us.

And guess what.

In less than 30 days?

We're gonna vote.
